Nightly Pulse: NBA Recap from Feb. 16

Tonight will signal the introduction of an innovative format for the All-Star Game. Rather than the usual head-to-head competition, a four-team tournament will take place. The 24 chosen players to represent the Eastern and Western Conferences have been split into three teams of eight, with the fourth team being comprised of the champions from Friday night's Castrol Rising Cup tournament.

Game Notes

The first team to reach or surpass 40 points in each game will be declared the winner, with the victor in Game 1 and Game 2, squaring off to be crowned champion and have the benefit of splitting a $1.8 million prize pool.
