Update on David Raya's injury by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta

Established as the undeniable first-choice goalkeeper for the club, Raya has been in exceptional form and has played a crucial role in the Gunners' undefeated start to the season.

The Spain international, however, sustained a muscle injury during last weekend’s 2-2 draw at the home of champions Manchester City.

Raya missed Wednesday’s Carabao Cup tie and with summer signings Neto and Tommy Steford out, due to being cupt-tied and injured, 16-year-old Jack Portermade his debut.

Arteta will hope to have Raya available for the visit of struggling Leicester but will be forced into making a late call.
